Credit Manager
Location: United States (Remote)
Reports To: Finance Leadership / Sales Director
Position Overview
The Credit Manager plays a strategic role in supporting PGW’s dealer-focused distribution model by responsibly managing credit risk while fostering strong, long-term relationships with our dealer network. This role requires a balance of financial discipline, operational leadership, and a partnership mindset that supports sustainable growth for both PGW and our dealers.

Key Responsibilities
Credit & Financial Management
· Evaluate and approve new dealer credit applications using financial analysis, risk assessment, and established credit policies
· Establish, monitor, and adjust dealer credit limits based on payment performance, financial health, and overall account exposure
· Oversee accounts receivable aging, collections strategy, and cash application to ensure healthy cash flow
· Provide sustainable, solutions-oriented approaches during delinquency or debt risk situations
· Prepare and present regular reporting on credit exposure, aging trends, KPIs, and risk metrics for leadership review
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead and develop the credit and collection’s function, including training, coaching, and performance management
· Develop and maintain department metrics and scorecards aligned with broader financial reporting
· Champion continuous improvement of policies, documentation, and workflows as the organization scales
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support dealer growth initiatives while maintaining responsible credit controls
· Act as a key internal resource during dealer onboarding, program launches, and special initiatives
· Serve as a collaborative voice in balancing revenue goals with financial risk management
Systems & Process Improvement
· Support ERP, financial system, and B2B platform enhancements related to credit, billing, and collections
· Contribute to process design, functionality testing, and internal or dealer-facing training as needed
· Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal financial controls

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 5+ years of progressive experience in credit management, accounts receivable, or commercial finance within a B2B environment
· Prior experience in the bicycle, outdoor, or consumer goods distribution industry is highly preferred.
· Demonstrated experience leading credit teams and developing KPIs and financial metrics
· Strong understanding of financial statements, risk-based credit decisions, and dealer finance
· Experience supporting ERP systems and B2B commerce platforms
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to resolve conflict constructively
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Reimer, and ERP systems
